GREEN FREIGHT TRANSPORT & CORRIDORS (2009-2022)

 The SuperGreen EU FP7 project dominates this area, which also includes some additional work.

 

·       “Supporting EU’s Freight Transport Logistics Action Plan on Green Corridors Issues- project SuperGreen”- 7^th Framework Programme, DG-MOVE (Coordinated Action, Consortium Leader: NTUA, H.N. Psaraftis Consortium Manager) (January 2010-January 2013). See HERE. 

This was a project with 23 partners across Europe, which was characterized by the European Commission as a “success story”, as documented in one of their brochures, published in 2015. See HERE for more details.

Associated with this project have been: my first of two Springer books (2016) (No. 13 below, on green transportation logistics), some papers and book chapters (No. 2 to 12, plus No. 14), and the PhD thesis of George Panagakos at DTU (2016). About half of the Springer book is SuperGreen-related, but it also has additional material. See HERE for the book.
